About us
Radnor-Winston is a community located in north-central Baltimore, roughly bounded by Charter Oak Avenue to the south, the Loyola College campus to the west, Notre Dame Lane to the north and York Road to the east. Radnor and Winston are two of our east-west streets.
Of the approximately 250 homes in Radnor-Winston, most are frame bungalows and four-squares built in the 1920s, and many retain their charming cedar shingles and Arts and Crafts detailing. We love our front porches, gardens, and sense of being in a small town in the midst of the city. The Radnor-Winston Improvement Association sponsors several community activities throughout the year, including a progressive dinner porch party, a Halloween parade, garage sales, an annual pancake breakfast, and community association meetings.
The red star in the maps below indicates the midpoint of our neighborhood on York Road.
Radnor-Winston is located in the ADC Baltimore City map book on page 35 in grid B-2 & 3. Our neighborhood is between Coldspring Lane and Homeland Avenue, and between N. Charles Street and York Road.
The aerial photos are from December 1998, the first looking west on Radnor with Loyola in the distance, the other looking northeast over the neighborhood.
